Chris, Captain's bike repairs mechanic and owner, sweeping the floor inside a mobile workshop or maintenance van.
“I love all bikes, all shapes, and all sizes. As long as you’re riding, it’s all good — whether it’s fast, slow, on the roads, or on the mountains”
— Chris

Bikes have been life since day one.

Hi, I'm Chris — the mechanic, the driver, the whole operation. I started Captain's Bike Repairs in 2022 because I genuinely love bikes - riding them, fixing them and reviving them.

I went mobile for this simple reason: getting a broken bike somewhere in London is a pain. So I built out a purpose-built workshop van and bring the workshop to you instead.

How do you work?

Simple — I come to you. Once I've checked your bike over, I'll carry out the repair or service on the spot using my fully stocked workshop van. In most cases, that's it — job done, no trips anywhere.

If a specific part needs ordering, I'll let you know upfront. I can either take the bike away and return it once the part arrives, or arrange a follow-up visit — whatever works best for you.
